New York is a diverse city with gorgeous old architecture and sleek new skyscrapers, iconic landmarks of all types, hidden surprises, and a diversity of residents and visitors that is unrivaled. The energy, the speed, and the creativity that occur on the streets every single day make it a playground for all types of photographers. While Manhattan is probably the most photographed place in the world, we’re not going to photograph only the famous landmarks but we are going a little deeper, trying to capture the true essence of the city. The streets are going to be the main heart of our photographic adventure as we are going to wander and photograph areas that are certainly the richest in culture, the most authentic, colorful and fascinating of New York, like The Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Soho, Harlem, the new High Line, and many more.

The city has amazing photo opportunities: from skylines and night photography, to architecture, portraits, and street photography… we are going to cover every aspect of photography.
We’ll be out shooting in the mornings, late afternoons and sometime evenings and we’ll spend mid-days reviewing our images, talking, visiting galleries, and enjoying everything New York has to offer in terms of photography. Every day the instructors Barbara and Stefania will work side by side with you to help you determining and achieving your photographic goals. It’s going to be a visual journey where participants will work on developing a personal style through their images; therefore it’s perfect for all level of photographic skill.

Tour Fee:
The cost of the Tour is $ 4000 per person. Couple discount $ 1000 per couple.
Single Room Supplement: $ 600.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
– Tour Leaders Fee

– 7 nights in Double Room with Continental Breakfast.

– Complimentary wine & cheese reception every evening from 5pm – 8pm.

– Unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi internet in the Hotel and Rooms.

– 2 dinners – Welcome Dinner and Farewell Dinner (beverages, drinks/alcohol not included).

– Entrance Fee for the Top of the Rock Observation Deck

– Unlimited Subway Card.

Please note that in the event that we are unable to pair you up for twin-sharing, you may have to get the single room.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
– Flights to/from New York

– Airport Transfers

– Insurance: we strongly recommend you purchase Travel, Medical and Cancellation Insurance.

– Other food, drink/alcohol not mentioned above.

– Entrance Fee to NYC attractions.

– Personal expenses and tipping.

– Passport, Visa Fee and ESTA fee – All international travelers who wish to travel to the United States without a VISA must apply for authorization (ESTA) before their departure. Here you can find all the info and apply online.

We strongly advice you NOT to make any travel arrangements to the USA until we confirm that the Tour will take place.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
It is recommended that participants bring a Digital SLR and a laptop. A complete list of optional equipment will be sent at registration.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
A deposit of $ 1000 per person is required at time of booking.
You can pay the deposit by Cash, Bank Wire or Credit Card via Paypal. Bank and Paypal details will be provided right after registration. Please note that we will keep your Registration for a maximum of 3 working days. In the event that we do not receive your deposit after 3 days, your registration will be cancelled.
The Photo Tour will be confirmed by us no later than May 30th, 2016. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS TO/FROM NEW YORK BEFORE WE CONFIRM THE TOUR. Full payment is due when the Tour is confirmed, no later than June 5th 2016.
If you cancel before May 30th, 2016, your deposit will be refunded (less € 50 administration fee.)
If you cancel on or after May 30th 2016 but before June 15th 2016, 50% of the Tour Fee will be refunded.
If you cancel on or after June 15th, the Tour Fee will not be refunded.
In the event the Photo Tour is cancelled by us, a full refund will be given.
